GalvySoft / Services

Cloud, virtualization and containers

Virtualized and cloud platforms to consolidate services, create reproducible environments and deploy applications on a maintainable operational base.

Virtualization or cloud migration only creates value when it simplifies operations. We design platforms where virtual machines, containers, networking, storage, backups and service exposure fit together and can be reproduced without relying on fragile manual steps.

When it makes sense

Problems we can help you solve

Physical servers with poor resource usage or too many mixed services on one machine.

Development, test and production environments that behave differently and create hard-to-reproduce failures.

Applications that need to be published on a VPS or cloud provider with DNS, TLS, backups and monitoring handled properly.

VM or container migrations that need to reduce downtime and preserve data.

Scope

What this service can cover

Final scope is defined by the project needs, constraints and criticality.

  • Proxmox VE, VMware and Hyper-V
  • Docker and Docker Compose
  • VPS and cloud servers
  • Virtual machine migration and consolidation
  • Networking, storage, snapshots and backups
  • Domains, DNS, SSL/TLS, Cloudflare, tunnels and WAF
  • Development, testing and production environments

Capabilities

What we do in practice

01

Virtualization

We consolidate workloads without losing service isolation.

  • Proxmox VE, VMware and Hyper‑V
  • Virtual machines, virtual networks and storage
  • Snapshots, migrations and backup planning
02

Containers

We use containers when they make deployments repeatable and operations simpler.

  • Docker and Docker Compose
  • Images, volumes, networks and environment variables
  • Separation of development, test and production
03

Cloud and VPS

We prepare the infrastructure needed to publish services without leaving security and operations until the end.

  • VPS and cloud providers selected by requirements
  • DNS, TLS, reverse proxy and Cloudflare
  • Backups, monitoring and secure administrative access
04

Operational automation

We reduce manual steps in tasks that must be repeated consistently.

  • Scripts and reproducible procedures
  • Templates, versioned configuration and cloud-init when useful
  • A foundation for CI/CD and infrastructure as code when the complexity justifies it

How we work

From the problem to an operable solution

Before implementing, we clarify the problem, the risks and how we will verify that the solution works.

01

Inventory and goal

We start from real workloads, dependencies, data, traffic and availability requirements.

02

Architecture

We decide what should be virtualized, containerized or kept outside those layers.

03

Migration or deployment

We build the environment and move workloads with validation before and after the change.

04

Operations

We leave backups, monitoring, updates and documentation appropriate to the workload's criticality.

Use cases

Situations where this service is a good fit

Consolidate multiple servers

Bring services into a virtualized platform with isolation, backups and centralized management.

Publish an application to production

VPS, containers, domain, TLS, reverse proxy, persistence and monitoring working as one deployment.

Reproducible environments

Reduce differences between development, integration and production through versioned configuration.

Delivery

What can remain when the work is complete

  • Defined virtualization or cloud architecture
  • Hosts, VMs or containers configured within scope
  • Documented networking, storage and persistence
  • Deployment, update and recovery procedures
  • Backups and monitoring when included in scope

Outcome

What we aim to improve

  • Better hardware utilization
  • More repeatable deployments with fewer manual steps
  • Clear separation between services and environments
  • More controlled migrations and recovery
  • Infrastructure that is easier to document and maintain

Real scope

What should be clear from the beginning

We do not impose Kubernetes, microservices or infrastructure as code because they are fashionable. If Docker Compose, a VM or a well-managed VPS solves the problem better, that simplicity is an advantage. Multi-region or large-scale platforms are assessed as specific projects.
